Faqs
How much does it cost to charge my car?
The average electricity fee is about 3.6THB per kWh in Thailand. Let’s say your Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid has an empty battery and approximately 10.8 kWh capacity. Depending on your driving style, your car should be able to reach approximately 22.4 km on a single charge. Charging your electric car would cost a total of 10.8 x 3.6 = 38.88THB, This means that the power consumption per kilometer is just around 1.73THB.

What is the purpose of a charging station when I already have a standard one?
It’s not safe to charge your car with a regular electrical outlet.
Charging your electric car from a regular electrical outlet poses severe safety issues. Regular electrical outlets and cables are not made for charging at a high capacity over a long period of time. If they’re used at a higher intensity than intended, it increases the chances of causing an electrical fire. These types of fires may not be fully covered by your insurance company, as their policies typically apply only if electrical outlets and appliances are used and installed in a compliant manner.
How far can I drive on a single charge?
How far you can drive on a single charge depends on the weather conditions, the weight your car is carrying (luggage/people), car amenities like heating and A/C, and of course, the car’s battery capacity.

What is the difference between warranty and insurance?
Warranty (Free 2 years)
Basically, anytime your EV Charger has a part that malfunctions due to no fault of your own, and no other outside force acting on it beyond a reasonable level, then it will be the warranty that covers it.
Insurance (Free 1 years cover up to 20m)
Unfortunately, some events occur to cause damage to your EV charger beyond the proper functioning of parts. Insurance is important for making sure you are covered. Sometimes you can’t prevent such things from happening, so it’s obviously pretty important to make sure you have insurance to take care of these expenses if it does happen.

How safe is VersiCharge?
Siemens uses a best in class 5 mA sensitivity on the Charging Circuit Interrupting Device (CCID) to protect against ground faults as well as a ground monitor to check the ground connection. Ground Fault Circuit Interruptors (GFCI), National Electrical Code (NEC) states that devices intended for the protection of personnel should de-energize when a current to ground exceeds the 4-6 mA range.
